A Blood Donation Camp was organized on SIMS Campus on 10 August, 2010 in joint aegis with MY Hospital under the supervision of Dr Anil Joshi and his team. Following encouragement from SIMS Vice-President Mr Prateek Sanghvi & Prof Aaquil Bunglowala (Principal – SOE), students and staff members turned out in large numbers to contribute in this noble cause.
Bridgestone THINK BEFORE YOU DRIVE - SIMS in association with Bridgestone India Private Limited conducted a seminar on ‘Traffic Rules & Defensive Driving’ as a part of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) on 26th August 2010.Mr. Vinayak Joshi from Helekars Defensive Driving Mission-Mumbai, Mr. Parag Jain, Section Manager HR&A & Ms. Deepika Jain, Assistant Manager HR&A addressed on the topic.Around 300 delegates from various strata of Management & Engineering fraternity, attended the programme.
Abhiyantriki Mahotsav (Engineering Day) celebrated in School of Engineering at Sanghvi Institute of Management science on Sep 15, 2010.“Engineers make their own way. They are their own mentors. Team of SIMS-SOM Mr. Puneet Demla, Mr. Sumit Jain & Ms. Ginni Ahuja won the NBO2010 (A Business Simulation Contest by IIM-A & Smartsims) by defeating 32 teams from different B-Schools ( PIMR, IPS, SVIM, IIST, SOE, AITR, VITM, Indore Indra, CIMR, SDBCT, Acropolis, MITM, SIA, Shri Aurbindo College).
SIMS Indore hosted National Business Olympiad on 19th & 20th Nov 2010 in technical parterneship of SMARTSIMS. 20+ Cities, 350+ Colleges & 500+ teams. Computer simulated business games competetion for MBA students.
Sanghvi Management Conclave - SACHETAN 2010 organized on 25th & 26th Nov 2010 at SIMS Campus. Theme - "Managing in Volatile Times".
Corporate Social Responsibility Committee (CSRC) of School of Management donated “Laser Printer” to the students of Deaf & Dumb School, Sindhi Colony and “Water Purifier” to an orphanage situated at Pardeshipura, Indore on November 21, 2011. Faculty members, staff and students across the schools contributed in this noble cause. The selfless service was rendered with inspiration of Mr. Prateek Sanghvi (Vice President, SIMS) and under guidance of Dr. Prashant Gupta (Director, SOM). The activity was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Rishu Roy (CSRC, Chairperson) and valued cooperation of Prof. Mitali Pathak, Prof. Rachna Kaul, Prof. Vikas Pathak, Prof. Vidyasagar Gulati and CSRC volunteers.
