Presently, the school is conducting the program of B.Sc. Biotechnology and Computer Science. From July 2008, B.Sc. Microbiology, is also being introduced which is proposed to be extended to post- graduate and doctoral programs at appropriate time. All programs are affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya and Higher Education, Bhopal. All programs are run with well equipped laboratories, able lab assistants and highly qualified and experienced faculty.
School is also exploring the field of nanoscience which is a comparatively newer field of science across the world, more so in India. It is said that developments in nanosciences and nanotechnology are going to not only affect the entire world but it will also change the lifestyles of all. |
| The growth of Bio-technology in the country during last one decade has been tremendous and it is growing with geometrical proportions for the simple reason that it works on the principal of eco-friendly processes and more production with less resources.
Bio-technology is applicable across a vast spectrum of areas e.g. pharmaceuticals, food, fertilizers etc. etc. Presently, India has 235 Bio-tech companies and more are coming up mainly because this industry has a global potential. Present turn over the Industry is around five billion dollars. It is estimated that this industry will create one millionjobs in coming 5 years. Since this is a scalable industry, starting own Bio-technology industry is going to be easy in addition to vast job opportunities. |
