| i. Trimester System |
|
| SIMS would follow trimester system in line with international standard. This will help the curriculum to include subjects which may not necessarily be possible to cover in semester system. This can be done by altering the credit structures across various subjects. Another reason for trimester is that it helps to create rigour in the programme in the sense that the course has to be delivered at a pace which is higher than that of semester system. It also provides an opportunity for better industry exposure. |

| The programme will be offered across four functional areas in dual, core and major- minor pattern. The functional areas will be on : |
