Apart from the above mentioned activities, SIMS has various clubs to enhance the knowledge and skills of students :
HR Club
“It Is Your Positive Attitude toward Life That Determines Life’s Positive Attitude toward You”. Keeping aforesaid objective in mind, HR Club was constituted. Organizations of contemporary world are passing through highly competitive environment and possessing the right blend of Knowledge, Attitude, Skill, and Habit (KASH) is considered to be the success mantra to excel in global corporate landscape. Therefore students in this club will develop the understanding of one’s own strengths and limitations, leadership, teamwork, conflict, time and stress management. As part of HR club, students will have easy access to the shared knowledge on work ethics, best practices, trends and industry news through various activities like Role Play, Case Analysis, Debate, Quiz, etc. Through these activities students will start thinking like Professionals and will also acquire Event Management Skills.

This will cultivate analytical, communication and decision making skills which would help in developing right attitude of students not only towards their career but also towards their life.

IT Club
IT Club, is formed with an aim to make the students aware of the fact that Information Technology has become the back bone of every business, and to make them understand how IT has benefited every span of human life. The various IT Club activities enhance their knowledge, skills, attitude and interest in IT. Students not only enhance their thinking levels with new innovations but they also learn how to deal with the dynamic environment and rapidly changing technology at global level. Just after a month’s existence, it organized a successful ‘Quiz Competition’, in Dec ’08 and now planning various activities like Guest Lectures, Presentation Competition on Career Scope, Debate, Extempore, Skits, and Computer Games competitions.
Finance Club
Finance is life blood of every economic activity which includes study of money, its nature, behaviour and its creation. In today’s competitive scenario, finance is considered as the bedrock for understanding modern corporate concepts and investment management framework. The club was formed with the objective to create interest in domain of finance. It focuses on financial management decision-making skills, rather than on mathematical calculations.

The club will motivate students to inculcate the core finance management skills and competencies which include knowledge of financial system, planning, control, problem-solving and communication. Finance club has organized activities like Finance Jumble, Debate Competition, and Seminars of Finance Experts. Now the forthcoming attraction of Finance Club is Preparatory classes for certification programme like NCFM, AMFY, etc.

Marketing Club
The Marketing Club of School of Management was started with an objective to organize and conduct various activities for improving the domain knowledge & skills of the students in marketing. These activities help the students in learning the practical aspects of marketing and inculcate analytical and communication skills.

They also mitigate the stage fear and boost the confidence of the students, thereby making them more suitable for current marketing environment. Till now, Marketing Club had organized six activities, namely, Quiz Competition, Ad Mad Show, Case Analysis and Presentation, Role Play Competition, Guest Lecture, and Marketing Social Event.

NEN Club
SIMS has been associated with the NEN, National Entrepreneurship Network since January 2007. The National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), which was founded in 2002, is a not-for-profit initiative of the Wadhwani Foundation, working to inspire, educate and support the next generation of high-growth entrepreneurs in India. Therefore NEN Club is being formed to promote entrepreneurship in the campus. Getting Inspired from NEN-Educators’ Orientation program SIMS’s NEN club has also formed its E-cell.

E-cell is a group of students who collectively practice and promote entrepreneurship in their campus communities by organizing various entrepreneurial activities. They are also committed and driven to think and act entrepreneurially and to explore entrepreneurship as a career option and a way of life. The tag line for SIMS E-Cell is “Enlightening Entrepreneurship Endeavor”. NEN Club has so far organized “ Promotion of Venture on Pamphlet”, “Shop to Shop”, “50 Rupee Venture” etc. Club also celebrates E-week every year in the month of February at national level. This E-week is celebrated on a particular theme by all the member institution across the country. Apart from the institute activity students also get chance to participate in Intercollegiate and National level events. For effective working of club the E-cell membership is invited every year to reform E-cell.

Book Reading Club
Book Reading Club at SIMS adds another feather to the caps of its students as it provides distinguished platform to them to carve their paradise of imagination, creation and execution at mental, spiritual and universal levels. The club aims at bridging the gap which is created due to time and / or distance. In this club students get the opportunity to navigate through ages and globe simultaneously by the books which have the immense power to evolve knowledge and share it.

All the students of SIMS have the access to its library which is one of the best libraries among all the B-Schools in the city and has been awarded second prize recently. The club focuses on critical areas where students need a great support, like vocabulary and fluency building, debating and communication skills. Book reading habit inculcates creativity, coordination and knowledge of students in every domain. This also contributes in building self-esteem and confidence of the students. Various activities like debate competitions, book reviews, etc. have benefited students in improving their communication skills and have helped in developing the team spirit also.

Other Entities
The Press & Media Committee
The Press & Media committee, comprising faculties and students, is responsible for the coverage of various activities held in SIMS round the year. These include a variety of academic and non-academic activities, cultural and sports events, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, industrial and educational tours, etc.

The press and media committee is responsible for news coverage and media arrangements for the aforesaid events. Academic & non-academic achievements of students and faculty members are also highlighted through various print and electronic media. This platform gives the students an opportunity to display and enhance their skills in media coverage activities and also instills the students and faculty members to improve and excel in their respective domains.

SIMS-SEER
SIMS-SEER is the Wall Magazine of SIMS which provides a platform to its members to throw pearls on paper. It comprises 2 sections viz. Articles & Attributes. The section titled ‘Articles’ owns one Article written by the student of the respective schools (SOCA, SOE, SOUGS, SOM, and SOAM). It is mandatory for each school to represent itself via one article.
The article should take support of visual effects, as pictures can easily catch or snatch the attention of the on-looker. The second section titled ‘Attributes’ exhibits the following :
i) The Million Dollar Question (?),
ii) The Gem – Quotes,
iii) From the Literary Streets...,
iv) Humour is the Sauce of Life,
v) From the Desk of the Director…,
vi) Wisdom Capsules from the member of the SIMS Fraternity, and
vii) Quick Look on the Happenings at SIMS. The above seven sub-sections of the section - Attributes are subject to change as       per the need of the hour. The Magazine is exhibited monthly on 10th of the month. Date of submission for Articles/Attributes       via email to wall.magazine@sims-indore.com is 7th of every month.
